MAKAIRA is a 1964 38′ Bertram reconditioned in 2010 from the hull up. One of the most famous fishing hulls www.bertram.com/history.aspx of all time is located here in Quepos and this classic raises huge marlin.

Powered by new twin 430 Hp Cummins Diesels, she cruises at 26 knots with a top speed of 40 knots. She is equipped with brand new technology including, 14" color Ray Marine, satellite, GPS, depth finder, 6 tuna tubes and live bait wells. Equipped with an UNDERWATER camera we will record your catch in its environment as well as a video camera from the bridge. All new Penn reels and Shimano rods including heavy and light tackle, fly fishing trips available upon request. Fully air conditioned salon, cabin and galley, flat screen tv as well as a grill for cooking up the catch of the day. All trips include breakfast and lunch with all the beer, wine, water and fruity juices you can drink.
